Dynamic Tracking

In-depth cost information and customized data queries help you allocate printing costs to the appropriate parties, target waste and forecast future printing needs. The InPrinter Agent monitors multifunction printer activity inside the device for enhanced accuracy and greater accountability.

In Printer Agent

Add the In Printer Agent (IPA) to monitor HP LaserJet Printer and MFP activity directly at the device. By collecting data directly inside the printer or MFP, IPA gives you a precise accounting of device usage. Because this “in printer” solution is not reliant on SNMP traps or MIB polling, IPA offers improved accuracy and reliability over other tracking and data collection systems. Each time the printer or MFP finishes a job, IPA collects important data about the job and sends it to a HPAC server. The data can then be accessed by the HPAC JA Reporting Tool, providing meaningful analysis of printer and MFP activity.
